Minutul 0. Atmosfera ca o sarbatoare, inaugurarea Arenei Nationale. Zeci de mii de oameni si zeci de mii de stegulete tricolore. Scandari si aplauze.
Minutul 90. Am facut egal (da, totusi am facut egal cu Franta, ei cu vedetele lor, noi fara ale noastre) si nu mai avem sanse de calificare. Huduieli, fluieturi. Jucatorii se aduna pentru a saluta publicul, dar pleaca repede la vestiare cu capetele plecate.
Cam asa stam la cantitatea si calitatea sustinerii echipei nationale. Repet, este echipa nationala, nu vreo echipa de club. Reprezinta tara ta pana la urma. Aia de care nu-ti mai pasa prea mult, aia pe care o iei la misto, pardon, la caterinca.
Stiu ca discutiile despre patriotism sunt lungi si nu asta e scopul acum. Mi se pare ca nu mai credem mai in nimic. Nu mai avem repere. Mai putine motivatii. Chiar si mai putine bucurii.
Scotienii sunt unii dintre cei mai tari suporteri pe care ii poti vedea. Am vazut o groaza de filmulete cu ei si sunt fantastici. Iata o mostra. Echipa lor tocmai pierduse in deplasere cu 2-0. Iar ei ramasesera in stadion si cantau.
